There are many ways you can support the mission of The First Tee and help us introduce the game of golf and its inherent values like honesty, respect, and confidence, to kids and teens.    We accept Donations, Memorial Donations, (Give a gift in Memory for someone who loved golf and would like to give junior(s) access to golf lessons & equipment who have financial barriers) & In-Kind Donations.  (In-kind gifts (Clubs, balls, & bags can be dropped off at Highland National GC, 1403 Montreal Ave, St Paul, MN 55116, We do not take shoes and pull carts, thank you )

The First Tee of the Twin Cities is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization, our mission is to impact the lives of young people by providing learning facilities and educational programs that promote character development and life-enhancing values through the game of golf. It teachs lifeskills through golf which leads to the 9 Core Values:


  • Area youth are supervised during after school hours
  • Area youth are taught life skills through golf
  • Area youth are not involved in juvenile crimes or high-risk behavior
  • Area youth are engaged in a healthy lifetime sport

Highland Sanford First Tee Learning Center

The First Tee of Saint Paul has received a matching donation from an individual (Donations raised will be doubled) to build a pavilion shelter at the Highland Driving Range that would offer a safe shelter for the juniors during poor weather conditions, a classroom type area for a better atmosphere to teach the Life Skills portion of the program as well as shelter for the juniors to practice/hit balls underneath when weather is poor.  Donations will receive recognition on-site at the new pavilion.
